Ok I know that I'm a few days behind on this, but while I was at work some of my friends and I were discussing some of the things we'd like to do in the new year. It seems as if the popular consensus seems to be toward eating less and exercising more. I was talking with a male friend of mine ,who if you saw him you would say this guy surely does not need any type of exercise
(his body is perfectly fit). My friend ,however has started a wonderful exercise program of jogging and going to the gym. While we were discussing his exercise program I couldn't help but think of all of the calories that I 've downed from November until now and I've got one thing to say---- "HELP ME I'M SUCH A HIPPO!!!!"
Although most people who see me say that I'm not really that overweight, but , my goodness I feel like I have eaten sooo much over the holidays. (Then to make matters worse I'm in the midst of a project where I am actually going to be promoting food on the net----sheeesh talk about a paradox!!!)
Here I was looking at someone who was perfectly fit and amusingly enough all I could think of " Well I gotta go wobble away and die now--oooh I'm so fat"
So to that end I guess that if I was going to make a New Years resolution (which I don't because I never manage to get past even day # 3 with them) they would be :
Lose some weight for cryin' out loud
Try to eat less or eat healthier for that matter (yeah right, the operative word in that sentence is try
Begin some type, any type, of exercise program.....anything for cryin' out loud! (the sad part about this is when I had a part time job as a messenger in New York while I was going through college, I had this killer metabolism- heck, I ate what I wanted, when I wanted, hey I ate all the time and never gained a pound---ohh
the good old days!!
That's my goal for this year. Whether I reach it is another story!
